My 'Owl'ter- Ego

Here's yet another owl themed artwork. Do I have an owl- fixation or these birds actually are creatively inspiring? There's no limit to the amount of creative liberties you can take with the form of an owl. No matter how far away you stray from their realistic form, their hypnotic eyes are always recognizable.

This is an animated gif made entirely in photoshop. If you can't view it properly, I'm sorry I don't know how to fix it- you'll just have to take my word for it that it looks awesome :P

For the Love of Dog

I've been doing a lot of quick movie-still sketches of late and this particular one is from the movie Chillar Party. It's one of my favourite scenes where Fatka & Bhidu are looking for a place to put up in, and see the old, abandoned, bright blue ambassador for the first time. There are several powerfully composed scenes in the movie and I couldn't help pausing & sketching every once in a while [needless to say, I still haven't finished the movie :P ].

This one is a careless quickie made in record one-and-a-half minutes, but I do believe that every Dog-film deserves its own full-fledged artwork. Do watch Chillar Party if you love dogs and/or kids and I'll try to remember to thank Ridhi for making me watch it!
